Orders, account and contact
We use your name, contact details, addresses, orders and correspondence to process your purchases, arrange delivery, manage your account, respond to your requests and maintain accounting records. An order can be placed without creating an account.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias (GE), Switzerland.
Payment and delivery
The payment methods offered are bank transfer and TWINT. For a bank transfer, we use the information needed to match the payment to your order. For TWINT, the data needed for the transaction is processed by TWINT and the institutions involved in the payment. The data needed for shipment is shared with the carrier.
Birthday offer and stock alerts
Participation in the birthday offer is optional. The day and month are used to schedule a reminder seven days before your birthday and your personal code on the day itself. The year is also stored if you enter the date in your account. The age-verification form checks whether you are an adult based on the date entered; a self-declared date is not proof of identity. You can disable the offer in your account or through the link in the emails. Disabling it deletes the day, month and year stored for the offer. If you request a back-in-stock alert, your email address and the selected product are used to notify you.
Language preference
French is offered by default. Your choice of French, German, Italian or English is stored on your device for one year. When you are signed in, your selected preference may also be saved in your account to adapt the language of birthday emails. You can change it using the website’s language selector or in your account details.
Statistics and external services
The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand how pages are used. The data may include browsing identifiers, pages viewed, interactions and technical information about the device. The Statistics category in the banner lets you manage your choice.
Google maps are external services. When they are loaded or a link is opened, Google may receive technical information, including your IP address. Facebook and Instagram links take you to their services, which are subject to their own rules.
Internal checks before publication: hosting country to be confirmed in the Infomaniak contract, contracted carrier, exact role of Jetpack/Automattic, countries and safeguards for Google/Automattic transfers, GA4 retention period, cookie inventory and lifetimes, duration of the stock alert.
Retention
Accounting records must be retained for ten years from the end of the relevant financial year. The shop’s current settings do not provide for automatic deletion of inactive accounts or old orders. You can request closure of your account or deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations. WooCommerce technical logs are configured to be retained for thirty days.
Cookies and preferences
Necessary cookies are used in particular for the basket, sign-in and your preferences. The banner offers the categories Necessary, Statistics, Experience and Marketing and saves your choice for one year. You can reject the optional categories or customise your choice, then review it using Manage my cookies.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you can request the information provided for by law about your data, its correction and, where the conditions are met, its deletion or delivery in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent for the future. Write to info@sohovape.ch. A proportionate check of your identity may be necessary. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

The website uses an HTTPS connection. No website can guarantee absolute security. This policy is updated when our processing activities change.
